This example is beautifully engrave and bright cut decorated with a foliage pierced grate both grate and interior are gilt, the engrave decorations are well ahead of there time and have a distinct art nouveau design but as we know this style was fashionable between c1880 - 1910 thus making this Vinaigrette very unique in design, please note the camera does not do this work justice and in hand it is very stunning, measures 3.5cm x 2.5cm x 1.3cm and weighs 14.8g, I have taken a photo of the vinaigrette on its side to show the lid and base are slightly curved, the cartouche is free of engravings.

Both lid and grate are hinged well, no play or other movement other than to open and close as intended.

A very nice example on offer buy it now, I will of course consider any serious and close quoted on most large items are a guide and if I have overcharged by a significant amount will gladly refund the difference after taking packaging costs and fee\'s into consideration as I do not seek to make profit from postage costs.
