Superb antique Victorian silver c1890 Scottish blue enamel penannular brooch pin:

This is a superb large boxed, antique Victorian period circa 1890, sterling silver Scottish blue enamel penannular brooch. This is a fabulous piece which has the most exquisite engraving work and blue enamel application I have seen in these types of brooches. The brooch can also be worn on the other side with lovely plain engraved work.PLEASE NOTE: There is some enamel chipping on the top of the brooch but this does not affect the overall appearance of this spectacular piece!
The brooch has no hallmarks which is fairly normal for pieces from this period but has been fully tested and is sterling silver. The main revolving pin is original and the length is 7.4 cm ( Just under three inches ) with the main brooch body being 5.2 cm ( Just over two inches ) in length.
