Superman, the world\'s greatest super-hero, takes to the skies in this limited edition lithograph. This classic image, inspired by the cover of SUPERMAN #1, originally published in the summer of 1939, captures the Man of Tomorrow against a backdrop of Metropolis. The image was created by Alex Ross, one of the most acclaimed painters working in comics today, who draws inspiration for his interpretation of Superman from the Man of Steel\'s classic comics of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, as well as the animated Superman cartoons of the 1940s.
The print is limited to an edition of 350 and is signed by Alex Ross.It was issued in 1998 and created exclusively for the Warner Bros. Studio Store Gallery.After completion of the edition all printing plates were destroyed.The Frame is 24\"W x 30\"H and was framed by the WB Studio Store.
