Thank you for looking at this sale. It is part of the Section W-2W (Utah andparts of Idaho and Wyoming) SURGE fundraiser.SURGE stands for StrengtheningUnits through Really Great Elections. But it is about much more than that. It is about outreach to units that the OA haslost or has little or no relationship with.It is also about developing the youth leaders in our area and helpingthem have the skills necessary to reach out to the 12,000 plus units in thesection. Simply put, W-2W has morepotential to bring the benefits of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s NationalHonor Society to more boys than any other section in the nation.

In May 2017 our section will host a National LeadershipSeminar (NLS). This quality nationalleadership program is essential to the development of our young leaders and forSURGE. An NLS is also very expensive,especially in Western Region. There isroughly $100 in expenses per boy just to train the staff and to bring theprogram to our state. That is not countingcosts of renting the camp, meals, supplies, etc. Currently the cost would be about $185 eachfor the weekend. Our goal with thispatch sale is to raise sufficient funds that we can bring the costs in linewith the costs of a typical section conference.All proceeds will go to the section to benefit youth (the fees and expenses will be donated).So please, offer early, often and generously if so inclined, it will allgo to benefit our youth. I sell collectibles that are important to buyers. I make sure to pack items well as to prevent damage. For postcards I use a 5X9 document envelope and the postcard is in a clear hard plastic casing. Scout items are inside baggies (if they fit) to prevent damage. I prefer to go overboard on packaging to ensure the item gets to you safely. 1-3 ounces costs $2.04 within the U.S. 1-3 ounces costs between $7.88-8.88 for International Shipping.

For shipping outside of the US: DHL is best for signature required if you have won $200 or more worth of items.
