From:Fairfax Station

To: Col Blunt

Suspicious persons have been lurking about here since the Regts left enquiring about the number of men left in the camp at the station our impression here is that a raid may possibly be intended tonight such is the opinion of Lt.Col Ross Capt. Smith & CaptDodge
