They were purchased from my local fine china & gifts store and have never been displayed or taken out of their boxes and are Brand New In The Box. The outer boxes have about 1-2 minor cosmetic flaws apiece that must have occured while being stored in the back of one of the drawers in my filing cabinet. The flaws range from a scratch in the back of the box of the 2012 to a bent flap in the box of the 2013. They do not take away from the beauty of these items, but if you like your collectibles to be 100% perfect then these may not be for you.
