hi a very nice Swatch sistem 51 sutb 400 19 jewels automatic & hand wind and has one the best strap that also i have had on any swatch i think this was first automatic watch very nicemovement for sure .The dial maybe be one the best looking to the dial as well with it\'s very nice White sec hand looks cool what a good design .I think is the best case design with is very cool display back that moves looks so cool . Well what a watch anyway cool design rare find used these days in used condition a few marks on the case so its its not mint ,the glass is very good the strap is very soft black leather and their is a mark from using it on the strap not bad but most tell they are there .The watch keeps good time i had on last week for a few day PLEASE SEE CONDITION REPORT FOR ALL THE INFO.please see photos. its 42mm bezel,45mm with,50mm lug to lug ,20mm lugs will fit a 8 or inch or lessSwatch Sistem51

One of the most exciting releases at Basel World 2013 came from Swatch, which isn\'t exactly the most talked about brand here at HODINKEE. The Sistem51 is the world\'s first mechanical movement with entirely automated assembly. It has only 51 components, all of which are anchored to a central screw, a 90 hour power reserve, and, oh yeah, it\'s 100% Swiss made. While there was one Sistem51 prominently displayed in a glass case at the center of Swatch\'s Basel exhibition, here we have an exclusive hands-on look at this revolutionary watch. Seriously guys, this could be a game-changer.Back in 1983, Swatch launched with the mission of making Swiss watches mass produce-able and available to everyone in the wake of the quartz crisis. By reducing the number of components in a quartz movement from the typical 91 to a much moremanageable51, Swatch was able to fully automate production. This, combined with the brand\'s commitment to popular culture, led to Swatch becoming the giant we know today, selling millions of watches per year.

And today, starting with that all-important number 51, Swatch developed the Sistem51, hoping to do for mechanical watch production what they did for quartz production 30 years ago. There is a lot going on here in a relatively simple looking package, so let\'s look at this watch\'s innovations one by one.

Sistem 51 Dial

Starting from the beginning, the Sistem51\'s movement is made entirely from a material called ARCAP. This alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc has anti-magnetic qualities, which prevents the movement from needing adjustments over time. The movement is hermetically sealed in the Sistem51 case, so it cannot be serviced later - having a movement impervious to Environmental conditions is thus critical for longevity.
