Reed and Barton sterling silver sugar shell spoon in the American Federal Pattern. Measuring approximately 6 3/8 inches itbears the hallmark of Reed and Barton and STERLING. The American Federal pattern was made fairly recently ( 1982-2011) so this is not an old spoon. But it is still a very beautiful spoon with an unbelievable bowl in the form of a double shell. The back also has the shell pattern as shown in photos.

It is in overall good condition with minor surface scratching andis appropriately monogrammed \"S\" for either Sugar, Saccharine,Splenda, Sucralose, Sorbitol or Stevia.If you use Equal perhaps wait until Ifind a similar sugar spoon monogrammed \"E\".
