Sweet vintage/antique Tambour Lace Boudoir Pillow. Exceptional detail on this delicate treasure! I purchased the pillow many years ago from the woman who bought it while on an antique hunting trip in Paris.Silk Pillow \"form\" that fills the pillow is a rose pink color and shows signs of age- could easily be swapped out for a new pillow form but thought the original should be sold with the lace cover- I love the \"age\", it gives it character in my humble opinion. See photos of the silk that has separated/ worn due to age. There is a water mark on the back of the pillow- on the silk` also shown in photo.
Top of pillow- there are small\"pulls\" in the thread of the lace that I have captured in the photographs- I believe this can be overlooked as I have had it on display for many years on a velvet settee with other pillows and the \"pulls\" have not affected the overall look of the display. I find no holes in the lace on the pillow or lace trim that surrounds it.
Pillow measures approximately 16.5\" across (point to point) not including 3\" lace trim -
Back closure has 2 mother of pearl buttons.
