This charming Lefton china piggy bank is from my parents\' estate. Though I\'m not sure where my mother got it, she had it on display for decades in her smoke-free home.
The pig\'s head and back are adorned with pink roses as well as small blue and pink cup flowers and green leaves. All the flowers are intact; none appear to be chipped in any way. The paint (eyes, eyebrows, leaves) and the iridescent glaze is also in perfect shape -- no chips, scratches or crazing that I can see.
The felt pads on the base are all intact, though worn a little thin.The stopper in the bottom was probably rubber at one point, but it seems hardened and I have not taken it out.
