Offered is a rare Swiss Army ALPNACH automatic 25 jewel chronograph which is new and was removed from the box only to photograph. The $1,895 dealers price tag is still attached. I am not a dealer or business but rather a collector of fine automatic Swiss Watches. This watch not only has a sapphire face crystal but a sapphire back crystal to display the 25 jewel automatic movement. The screw-in back is covered with plastic from the factory which made my photo appear dull. The case is brushed stainless steel with contrasting black PVD coating on items such as the bezel and pushers. The watch is large, measuring 43mm without the screw-in crown. The case is water resistent to 330 feet and the hands are luminescent. The belt is beautifully finished and Swiss made, The deployment buckle has a double spring lock and is stainless steel. A date feature is provided. The second dial is intended to represent a helicopter rotor. This is appropriate because Alpnach is a helicopter base. This is a complex and beautifully designed high-end watch. It would make a fantastic present. My price is a bargain and I will include free insured shipping.
