Swords of Cerebus Vol. 5 TPB - Sim and BWS Cover - Issues 17-20 - :
$11.00
Cover - Incredible wraparound cover by the great Barry Windsor-Smith!!! A real treat to see Cerebus done by one of the true all-time greats.
Writer/Artist - Dave Sim takes us through issues 17-20 of Cerebus, for those who know, this is a critical run in aardvark\'s saga, culminating in one of the most creative and talked about visual and narrative techniques done in comics! Issue 20, Mind Games, is a walk through Cerebus\' soliloquy...a monologue for the ages induced by an illicit substance passed in to our hero\'s system at the end of Issue 19, which features none other than Red Sonja! I mean, Red Sophia! and takes place in Palnu. As I said, a critical part of the run\'s narrative, and the beginning of Sim really getting personal (more than usual) by incorporating his experimentation in to his art, and at this point, it worked!
Check out the photo(s) - that is the book you will receive - no stock photo nonsense, no filters on the photo! I bag and board all of my books as soon as I get them. All books (even magazines) are stored in comic boxes in a smoke free home and handled with love.
I am not a professional grader by any means. I go by Overstreet\'s guidelines and use common sense. Please ask for more photos if you are concerned.
I\'m happy to send more pics if you need them, I ship super duper safely (as well as use adverbs appropriately). There\'s a USPS in my building at work and walking distance from where I live - I process very fast upon payment and you\'ll get a shipping number ASAP, and guess what? Shipping is free and I\'m happy to do local pickups as well!
Buy this comic and check out my other comics, too!
Hit the buy button and let\'s become comic book friends!
Note: I donate some of the proceeds to charity, I\'m not here to make a ton of money. I simply don\'t have enough space for all these wonderful books, and I\'m at a point where I\'d rather find a good home for these comics to bring the next person as much happiness as having them brought me.
Good luck and don\'t hesitate to ask questions if you\'re not sure you\'re ready to hit the button!
