This is a high grade comic, and the photos below show the actual book the winning buyer will receive. Click on the thumbnails for high-res close-ups, of both the front and back covers, the inside front and back covers, the 1st and last pages, and the centrefold.
The only flaw of note not obvious in the photos is a tiny hole in the back cover - in the bottom left yellow advertising box...
The staples, cover and centrefold are all firmly attached. There's no writing on, or missing pieces from the interior pages of the comic. There's no tape. The comic has been carefully studied and accurately graded. There are no hidden surprises.

TALES OF SUSPENSE 75 in Very Fine Minus (7.5) - $88
Overstreet Grade Description
“Very Fine (8.0) - An excellent copy with outstanding eye appeal. Sharp, bright and clean with supple pages. A comic book in this grade has the appearance of having been carefully handled. A limited accumulation of minor bindery defects is allowed. Cover is relatively flat with minimal surface wear beginning to show, possibly including some minute wear at corners. Inks are generally bright with moderate to high reflectivity. A 1/4 inch crease is acceptable if colour is not broken. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. No obvious soiling, staining or other discolouration, except for minor foxing. Spine is almost flat with no roll. Possible minor colour break allowed. Staples may show some discolouration. Very slight staple tears and a few almost very minor to minor stress lines may be present. No rust migration. In rare cases a comic was not stapled at the bindery and therefore has a missing staple; this is not considered a defect. Any staple can be replaced on book up to Fine, but only vintage staples can be used on books from Very Fine to Near Mint. Mint books must have original staples. Paper is tan to cream and supple. No hint of acidity in the odour of the newsprint. Centrefold is mostly secure. Minor interior tears at the margin may be present.”
“Very Fine Minus (7.5) – Fits the criteria for Very Fine but with an additional defect or small accumulation of defects that detracts from the book’s appearance by a perceptible amount.”
Click images to enlargeAbout Us I've been buying and selling comics for over 30 years.
All of the sales I'm listing are from my personal collection. They're either comics I've upgraded, or doubles, or issues that I purchased as part of a larger lot that I don't collect myself. They've all been stored in bags and boards in a cool, dry, smoke-free room away from sunlight.
Every comic has been carefully checked and graded by me prior to listing. I've inspected each and every page, as well as the front and back cover, paying special attention to the staples, checking for cover gloss front and back, holding them up to the light to catch any hard to find creases, bends and other hard-to-spot flaws.
When I assign a grade to a comic, I'm doing my absolute best to be accurate. I'll include the Overstreet description of the assigned grade, so you can be sure of what to expect. I constantly refer to the 3rd edition of the Overstreet Comic Book Grading Guide - and if you're not familiar with it I highly recommend it. Especially when it comes to older comics it's a real eye-opener...
