Dragon Egg\" Vintage 1985 #25/750

Theo Fabergé\'s 1985 vintage creation in tribute to his grandfatherCarl Fabergé, who was one of the first to interpret oriental influence into jewelry. The Egg is made from jet black crystal and hand painted with raised 23 karat gold. A design inspired by the delicate work of ancient oriental craftsmen. Finally, the fiery eye of the dragon is a glittering faceted ruby.

Mr. Fabergé lived in the south of England. The St.Petersburg Collection was started in 1985. Prior to 1985, Mr Fabergé worked on individual commissions (many of which are featured in his book Theo Fabergé and the St.Petersburg Collection.) During this period, he was elected Freeman of the City of London, a Prizeman of the Worshipful Company of Turners. He also became an honorary Liveryman. There are approximately 60 Eggs in the Collection, of which approximately 20 are completely sold out. All of his creations are handpainted in enamel with 23/24-carat gold.
This comes with original box and original packaging and that goes for all of are collection of Theo Faberge eggs that we have listed for sale.We also have other collection eggs from Theo SCRIBE
