Owning a gallery and being a collector presents a particular problem: you have first pick of all the art that comes though the door. Inevitably you set aside some of the \"best\" art for yourself. This is not great for business, of course. So I (Charles here) have decided to put up some of the art from my personal collection for sale. These items will be listed at the \"I don\'t want to sell it\" price (thanks to American Pickers) under the \"Charles Scott Gallery Special Collection*\" heading. Prices are high, and you may not agree that these are \"the best,\" as I have particular tastes, but never-the-less, should someone else want these enough, they are here for the taking!
TMNT was running when I was leaving high school and in college - we all watched it - my entire house. So of course, when it came to collecting, I pursued the best of the best. And here it is: one of the hand-painted original production backgrounds of the Turtle Lair (\"Sewer Sweet Sewer\") from the cartoon that started in 1987 - it\'s where they watch TV! It\'s approximately a little over 15\" wide and around 10.5\" high. We added a random screen cap from the show so you can compare.
What\'s strange is that they must have drawn up a few different sets of stock backgrounds for the living room - if you watch carefully, within a single episode you\'ll see slightly different things on the wall - in one the item closest to the \"exit\" door is a poster diagram, then sometimes a mirror. They don\'t seem to care - or maybe it\'s a series joke. Because it\'s this way season after season.
