TRAVELLING VICTORIAN LEATHER IMPROVED INKSTAND INKWELL & POUNCE POT SANDER:

This is for arare little Victorian travelling inkwell and pounce pot combination from around 1840. It has aleather cover embossed in gold \'Improved Inkstand\' on the lid. The concealed button on the front flips open the lid and inside is a glass inkwell and metal sander pot with a perforated lid. They both fit into their purpose made sockets and both have sprung lids that will seal them when the lid is closed. The sander is removable and there is a space at the back to hold a quill pen. It is all in excellent condition with nodamage to the box, it has its original green paint finish inside whichshows a little wearwornbut theleather on the outside is excellent. It has the original Victorian sales label on the base and the boxmeasures 65mm (2.5\") by 38mm (1.5\")and it stands 34mm (1.25\") high.Please check out all the otherdesktop inkwells and other vintage gentlemans & ladies accessories we are selling on this week.
