This item comes from a private collector.
I was told that this item was purchased in Turkey around 1960s, but I do not know its exact age.
This is a very ethnic/traditional kilim bag/heybe.
It is in antique/vintage/pre-owned condition.
This bag is made with antique/vintage Turkish kilim piece that is re-purposed.
This bag has a a open mouth, three (3) hand made tassels dangling from the bottom, and a hand twisted cord as a strap.
The antique/vintage kilim that is used has wear, discoloration/stains, and imperfections on it.
The tassels also show some wear.
Since this is a hand made item, it may have some imperfections that is expected from artisan pieces.
Size/dimensions: This bag is about 18.5 inches with the tassels (12 inches without the tassels)X11 inches.
The cord/strap is about 40 inches long with 20 inches drop.
The cord/strap can be shortened by simply tying a knot at the desired length.
This is a very authentic kilim bag/heybe, that is very meaningful. The antique/vintage kilim that is used is stunning.
