You will receive two (2) silver shoe ashtrays with similar designs.
Since these are hand made/artisan work the designs may be slightly different and there may be imperfections in the designs.
These silver shoe ashtrays come from a private collector.
I was told they were very old (early 20th century), but I do not know their real age.
These ashtrays are made of silver color metal, cabochon beads and silver filigree wire work.
The design is traditional/ethnic Turkish/Ottoman with stunning craftsmanship.
These ashtrays are not marked, so I do not know the metal content.
The metal content could be low grade silver, zamac, or zinc.
Each one has three (3) cabochon stone/beads (green, blue, and rust color). I do not know the stone material.
Each shoe is about 5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide.These shoes are in vintage/pre-owned condition, and they do show wear especially at the bottom of the shoes.
They may also show oxidation/discoloration, dings/dents, scratches, and other imperfections.
I do not clean vintage/pre-owned items and leave that to the new owner.
