We are offering for sale a beautiful OTTOMAN Turkish, Silver wirework and Silk Embroidered Cloth on Cream silk with floral foliate and crescent decoration with on silk.Could be used for a variety of purposes but probably a Chalice Veil originally .Would be nice framed or as a small tablecloth cloth . Mid 19th century over 150 years old . Handworked with Elements of stumpwork in silver twisted wire must have taken months to complete . It looks amazing with Silver ware and Glass.
SIZE 30 inches Long or 20inches deep OR 76cm long x 50cm wide. SOME MINOR LOSSES To Wirework hardly any damage to the Silk, A little discolouration on the reverse of the cloth PLEASE SEE PHOTOS .
