(ONE HAS A VERY SMALL COLD ROLL MARK)OUR GRADING SYSTEMWE USE THE GRADING SYSTEM FROM LARRY CASTLE AND MARLOW PETERSON\'S BOOK, \"MARBLES THE GUIDE TO MACHINE MADE MARBLES SECOND EDITION\", PAGE 101-102. THIS SYSTEM WAS DEVELOPED BY DANNY TURNER OF RUNNING RABBIT MARBLE sales. MINT IS A MUCH ABUSED TERM. TRUE MINT IN THE STRICTEST TERM WOULD BE 10.0 WHICH IS VERY SELDOM OBTAINABLE. MOST MARBLES RECEIVE VERY MINOR SCRATCHES AND DINGS BANGING TOGETHER DURING PRODUCTION AND OR PACKAGING. IN THIS SYSTEM A MINT MARBLE IS 9.0 TO 9.9. A 9.9 MEANS THERE ARE NO OBSERVABLE FLAWS TO THE NAKED EYE. A 9.6 TO 9.8 THERE WOULD BE A VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE FLAW, SUCH AS A FINE SCRATCH OR VERY SMALL COLD ROLL MARK. LOWER 9\'S WOULD HAVE A SOMEWHAT EASIER TO LOCATE, BUT STILL HARD TO FIND, MINOR FLAW THAT WOULD NOT JEOPARDIZE ITS MINT RATING. PLEASE REFER TO THE BOOK FOR THE ENTIRE GRADING SYSTEM. They Published the first book ever written on machine-made marbles, then Published 2 other books. They then Published the first and only book on Cat\'s-Eye marbles. He and Larry also Published 3 Posters on machine and hand-made marbles. In 2013 Marlow and Denis Andelin have co-written and Published a book on the Andy Davis Top Sets and the Jabo Special Contract Run Marbles titled, \"Marbles & Spinning Top Treasures\". They also Published 2 Posters, one on the Jabo Special Contract Run Marblesand one on the Andy Davis Top Sets. In 2015 Marlow and Denis Published their second book, \"A Price Guide for Jabo Marbles and More\", which is a Price Guide to all the JABO Classics and the beautiful JABO Special Contract Run Marbles.
