<img border=\"0\"><br><a target=\"_blank\"><img border=\"0\"></a>Special pair ♥ ♥of antique German, all bisque action, \"KEWPIE Huggers\", measuring only 2 1/2\" high, directly from their original owner and wearing all their original attire. Designed by famed illustrator, Rose O\'Neill, circa 1913.Celebrating their one-hundred year anniversary, they are joined together with their tiny little arms hugging each other. The bridegroom wears his original, factory applied, black crepe paper tuxedo and his bride wearsher original, antique crepe paper and lace bridal gown and matching veil with pale green ribbon (which have slightly yellowedover the last century). They have molded and painted tufts of blond hair, adorably painted side-glancing eyes, tiny eyelashes, eyebrows, sweet smiling lipsand blue, \"cupid\", molded and painted wings. Their feet are each molded apart to stand and are in excellent condition with no chips or nicks, no cracks or hairlines and no repairs or repainting although some of the groom\'s crepe paper tuxedo is worn away. They originally decorated the top of a wedding cake and have been lovingly saved for another generation to enjoy.We are also including an identical pair of, vintage hard plastic or celluloid, \"Kewpie Huggers\", still attached to their base and wearing all their original clothing. They would be great to borrow the old lace wedding gown, veil and groom\'s top hat!See last two photos. Other antique Kewpies are not included and will each be listed separately.
