Here are two Mazda type 12AX7 tubes. These are apparently identical in construction, but the markings are different. These were made for the French military. The triple-mica construction indicates tubes that were more robust than the normal production tubes.The tube on the left in the pictures has an etched marking 5751, with what appears to be a date code below it, which reads 58511. I\'m assuming that is 1958. There is no printed type marking on this tube.The tube on the right in the pictures has an etched marking 12AX7S-H, with the number below it which reads 57243. This would be 1957. The type number is printed on the top of the tube, and there it reads 12AX7, with HS below it.The etched markings are very faint, but fully readable in the right light. I wasn\'t able to photograph them, but you can see traces of the markings in the third picture.The getters in both tubes are halos with two supports.From a strictly aesthetic standpoint, these are without a doubt the prettiest 12AX7 tubes ever made.These tubes test reasonably well on my TV-7D/U tester, below NOS, but well above minimum, which is 32 on this tester.Tube 1 (marked 5751) gives readings of 42 and 44, tube 2 (marked 12AX7S-H) gives readings of 46 and 44.I also tested them on a B&K Precision 667 emission tester, and both tubes give good emissions readings. This tester is particularly good for identifying tubes with grid emission (gas), shorts, and leakage. These tubes show none of those problems.These tubes will sell to the best and highest buyer, there is no \"buy it now\".Overseas buyers are responsible for any import duties or taxes.
