Taft Sherman March 4 1909 Inauguration Ribbon with Medals of Taft Plus \"Our Senator\"This is an amazing piece of history that has remained...albeit the ribbon is badly frayed. The actual metal medals and pictures are in great shape. The lower medal of Taft has his picture with a background of eagle wings and the capitol building. The other medal is of \"Our Senator\" and I am totally clueless who this is. If any historians out there can help me, I would be very appreciative. It seems to me that this was a badge worn at the inauguration by someone invited? Again, someone please help me with my information. At the bottom of the ribbon, there is the wording, Taft & Sherman, Washington, D.C. March 4, 1909, the days of his inauguration. There are metal \"ribbon\" fringe at the bottom in great shape and about 1 1/2 inches long.Please check out the pictures and email any questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
