This gorgeous very vintage classic oval turquoise and coral inlay sterlingsilver ring shows a peyote bird or water bird in flight headed into the skyover trees and streams!

The incredibly talented jewelry designer Tommy Singer was the inventorof the chip inlay technique. Not only is this ringcreated with a great example of turquoise and coral chip inlay, you can seeTommy Singer was a master silversmith as well!

Chip inlay isa method where cavities in jewelry are filled with a mixture of crushed stone,typically turquoise and coral, and epoxy resin. The piece is then polishedsmooth after the resin has hardened.

The ringis not marked .925 or sterling, but has been tested positive with no marks or cosmetic damage to thepiece.It is common for the sterling mark to be missing in early NativeAmerican vintage pieces.

These isa pre-owned very vintage ring.There are scratches from time and a bit of patina too! Please check outphotographs!
