Up for sale is an originalProduction Cel and background from the hit 1987 TV series that started it all, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This set up is comprised of 3 separate cels,with each character on a separate layer. Each untrimmed cel measures 9" x 10.5," the turtles are 2.5" tall. The set up has also been placed over an original hand painted production background from the series. The cels and the background are stuck together (the paint is stuck to the underlying layers), this does not ruin the image itself, and it looks good as you can see, but I would suggest not trying to separate the layers as that could damage the paint on the cels. We very rarely get TMNT art, but we never get original backgrounds from the series, and especially one so cool that has the van on it. I'm starting this with a low opening offer and and including a Van Eaton Galleries certificate of authenticity.
