This is an impressive vintage Hopi museum quality silver bolo tie being the finest bolos we have ever seen by Bernard Dawahoya. This bolo is very large and heavy. In the center rests a marvelous square Pilot Mountain t/urquoise stone that measures around 7/8\" X 7/8\". The stone is wonderfully situated in a recessed sterling silver setting. Resting on top of the maginificent bolo is a large hand carved kachina face with stunning concho patterns on the bottom. Flanking the stone are exquisite large overlaid graduating clouds. Bernard is one of the most prolific artists of all time and taught many Hopi silversmiths and is considered a legend. This bolo tie is unique as it is contains Bernards more rare hallmarks and confirmed by the herd. The bolo measures around 3\" X 2-3/8\" and the total length of the tie measures around 43\".
