For the first time in history, Time Life announced today the pre-sale availability for The Best of Soul Train 9-DVD Box set, with more than 16 hours of pure love, peace, and souuul, specifically highlighting the \'70s decade. Fresh off the heels of the highly rated VH1 documentary special, the DVD release marks the first-time availability of Soul Train, the longest running, syndicated series in television history. The Best of Soul Train features 130 classic performances.The Best of Soul Train features the biggest names in R&B and soul, with classic performances from Soul Train\'s most acclaimed era, 1971-1979, showcasing celebrated artists such as Aretha Franklin, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone, Gladys Knight, The Commodores, Patti LaBelle, Marvin Gaye, The O\'Jays and many more.Viewers will re-live the original dance styles and scene-stealing fashions from the heart of the \'70s, as well as favorite moments from the Soul Train Dance Line to the beloved Soul Train Scramble Board.
