RetiredDepartment 56 - The Holiday Housein original box. The ceramic and glaze are in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. The box shows a good deal of wear. This house lights up with 2 light bulbs that go inside. The string of lights lining the house and bushes also light up and twinkle. There is that special cord inside the house that plugs into the main cord, and it looks like the wire is damaged. (see pics to see what I\'m talking about) I believe this cord controls the two front porch lights (which don\'t work) and the twinkling string of lights. (which do work) Santa and 3 reindeer are flying over the roof (originally had 4, but 1 is missing) The words Ho Ho Ho are decorating the roof. See the close up pics for more detail.

Itry my best to individually describe the condition of each piece, howeverplease carefully read the item’s description and examine the photos and videoto assess the item’s condition for yourself.Basically, what you see is what you get!Please note that Department 56 village buildings and accessories are handcrafted with a high level detail, so imperfections are to be expected and addto the unique character of each piece. Besure you know exactly what you are offerding on because returns will not be accepted.

Underspecial circumstances, I may agree to accept a return, however, the buyer mustpay for return shipping and packaging. In this situation, the original shippingcosts will not be refunded. If I am atfault and the item is not as described, or I send you the wrong item, I willaccept the return and provide a pre-paid shipping label, and a full refund.

Withreturns for any reason, the buyer must report it through the returnsprocess within three business days upon receipt of the item. The item should be returned via UPS in thesame box and packaging that you received it in.Upon my receipt and inspection, I will refund you in full as long as theitem returns to me in the exact condition as which I sent it to you.

Dueto the delicate nature of these buildings, please use extra care when removingthem from the original box. The manufacturer packs them so securely inthe styrofoam (which is a good thing!) but sometimes they are difficult to getout and damage could occur if you aren’t careful. :) I will not be responsible for such damage andwill not accept a return or refund in this situation.

Inthe unfortunate case of loss or damage during shipping, please do not throwaway the original packaging. Contact meimmediately and send photos of the damaged item, the box and the internalpackaging. We will work together to filea claim with the shipping company.

Myprices are based on Village D-Tails (3rd Edition) which is a collector’s guideto the Secondary Market Values and/or information direct from the manufacturer.Taking the item’s condition into consideration of course.
