Blind- and gold-stamped leather bound quarto; Acceptable/Good condition; panel border is reinforced with a thick decorative metal strip on front panel only; metal strip is separating from panel edge and is temporarily held in place by rubberband; bible is fully illustrated with chromolithographs with tissue protectors, and includes commentary; leather is cracked, partially separating on front panel; binding is cracked at back hinge; writing of former owner signed 1876 on front flyleaf; some foxing to pages; staining to the edges of some pages, most of the illustrations are unaffected.
