- Orders are processed the same day as money is received up until 2pm on that business day. Any money received for an order after 2pm on a business day will be shipped the following day.
- Express Post is guaranteed next business day delivery to all of the Express Post Network
- Service transit time overseas is provided by Australia Post Airmail. It takes about 5 - 7 working days to the US and the UK; about 7 - 10 working days to other countries. Transit times may be a little delayed during holiday periods.
- If you have not received your shipment within 5 days from payment, please contact us. We will track the shipment and get back to you as soon as possible with a reply. Our goal is customer satisfaction!

Costume Parlour offers a hassle free return policy. We are confident in the products we sell and believe that we provide some of the best made and available costumes online. Costume Parlour tries to be as thorough as possible in its representation of each and every product we offer for sale. Accurate images, detailed descriptions, sizing charts, and the like all help to ensure you get the best costume for you. But sometimes there is a need to return (or exchange) a costume, so we want to make you aware of our policies and the proper procedure for returning items to us.
For all sales that included Free Postage and returned for a refund we will charge a 20% restocking fee or $10.00, whichever is greater. For all other sales returned for refunds we will charge a 15% restocking fee.
If you have chosen the wrong size you are more than welcome to exchange it for a different size. Exchanges do not incur restocking fees.
Exchange Procedures
- Notify us within 5 days by message of the intention to exchange the item.
- Send the item back to us by a registered method and include a return prepaid envelope
- If the item is urgently needed, purchase the exchanged item off and we will refund you your original purchase to speed up the redelivery process
Refund Procedures
- Notify us by message within 3 business days of receipt of purchase.
- Return the item/items by registered post within 5 business days
- All items returned must be in an “As Sold” condition – that is the item must be unworn ( except in the event of trying on ) , in its original condition and in its original packaging. Costume Parlour is strict on these conditions. We inspect every return thoroughly for signs of wear. If you wear it or stretch it out, please don\'t return it! You wouldn\'t want to buy something you thought was brand new that someone else had worn, would you?
- We will then assess the returned item that it meets our guidelines and refund the money back to the purchaser. If you paid via bank deposit you will have to notify us of your bank details to enable us to refund the money.
- Postage is to be paid by the buyer
- All applicable items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee
- Any item that was sold with free postage will incur a 20% restocking fee or $10 whichever is greater
Not Covered By The Refund Policy
- Sale items are not returnable, nor are they exchangeable. All merchandise purchased “On Sale“ is sold \"As Is.\"
- Some items are never returnable (for hygienic reasons). These include dog costumes, baby costumes, undergarments, wigs, hats, stockings, petticoats, and socks, and of course, any item that is sold on Sale.
