An antique 1st Edition book of \'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner\' illustrated by Willy Pogany and published by George harrap & Co in 1910.
The cover to the book is a type of suede cloth with indented gilt lettering and design. There are no splits or damaged edges to the cover, front, back or spine. The front cover has a slight curve to it which could be corrected through pressing.
The book is Coleridge\'s \'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner\', which is presented in seven parts with liberal illustrations by Willy Pogany. Each page of verse is bordered by an elaborate design in black pen. There are many black pen illustrations throughout and 20 colour plates.
The title page has suffered a tear removing one corner which has been repaired, (see final photo).
Some pages have slight spotting around edges, with one page having some brown mottling which appears to have come from the colour plate opposite.
