This 85 page book was published by Frederick Warne & Company, and it is a 1906 1st Edtion!! It is astory told in rhyme about a Dutch boy and girl, how they meet and fall in love, and how on all their travels, their sabots (clogs) could be heard on the paths and cobbles.It is very hard to find a 100+ year old book in this condition!! The original onion skin dust jacket has a few very small edge tears and a small corner crease on the back flap!! Otherwise it is flawless!! The boards are virtually pristine!! There is the original retail price written in pencil on the back of the front fly leaf page and the original owner\'s name and Christmas 1910 written in ink on the first title page!! Otherwise the interior is clean and the binding is solid!! A beautiful children\'s book is VERY RARE condition!!
