This original print, by a photographer whose work has appeared in major publications, depicts a Venetian gondolier rowing his passengers down the Grand Canal. The image has been treated digitally by the artist and it makes a fine effect. It comes framed in an antique frame, probably American, probably about a century old, and together they make an excellent pair.

The artist, Joel Cohen, recently had a solo exhibition of his Venetian images. His photographs have appeared in the New York Times, the Boston Globe, Le Monde (Paris), and elsewhere.

Dimensions are about 13 inches by 17 inches, frame included. circa 7.25 inches in diameter. The digital print was made on fine quality paper using archival inks. The frame, which was hand stained several generations back, has aged gracefully and gives an elegant setting to the photograph. The ensemble is ready to hang and enjoy. Buyer pays shipping and insurance ($20 within the U.S.).
