Item: RARE high quality 8x10 glossy photograph of actor Buddy Ebsen who was originally cast as the Tin Man in the classic film \"The Wizard of Oz\". This rare behind the scenes photo, taken in Oct 1938, is a costume test still for the film. Buddy Ebsen autographed this photo for me, in person, at his home in the late 1990s. I worked as the editor of his autobiography, \"The Other Side of Oz.\" The photograph is a newer print struck directly from the studio original. Very nice detail, clarity, and contrast. Buddy signed it boldly in black permanent marker pen. One of his best ! Note: this is not some cheesy computer or laser print, this is a very nice custom still produced at a photo lab. The autograph is NOT a preprint or reprint...this is the actual autographed photo up for sale. Mega-RARE!
