Up for sale The Confidential Correspondence of Napoleon Bonaparte with his brother Joseph .Sometime king of Spain. Selected and translated with explanation notes, from the memoirs du roi Joseph. Two volumes set.Published by D.Appleton and Company, New York . 1856 .First Edition.
The set is in acceptable condition for its age, binding are tight, text is clean, no mark. Brown boards, name of previous owner on the front end papers, minor foxing through,very little water spots.
The cover has some edge wear, corners slightly bumped, The spine has some chipping and fading. There is a bookseller sticker on the inside cover. Hinges are starting but still working well.the cover are partially detached from spine around 1 inches up and down.
Volume 1: the spine cover are partially detached.
A great addition for any collector. Still an old book well worthy the money.
