THIS IS WHAT YOU\'RE offerDING FOR: Here\'s an antique photograph album, a traditional fat leather form measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches, with insert pages to hold up to fifty (50) sixth-plate size images, and it\'s completely filled with genuine vintage tintypes. It\'s in very worn yet still intact condition after over a century of handling and viewing, appears to be a typical 1860\'s style album, no doubt made in America, heavy leather covers featuring deep decorative embossing plus bead and brass highlights, with distressed yet complete spine, intact fancy hardware, and all its original pages still attached. The tintypes are the usual variety of studio portraits, everything from single shots of a man or woman, children, husband and wife pics, and buddy poses, probably a long line of favored family and friends, and from the clothes and other clues they appear to date from the heart of the 1860\'s up through the 1880\'s. The index page is blank, and I haven\'t pulled any of the tintypes out to look for identifying marks, revenue stamps, photographer names, or anything else, so that adventure will be left to the next owner.
