In Sacro Sancta Coenae Mysteria, Passionem, et Resvrrectionem Domini Nostri Iesv, Homiliae, & Tabulae, annexis quibusdam Scholiis, ex primis Ecclesiae patribus. Ad Amplissimum & Illustrissimum Principem Carolum Cardinalem Lotharingum. By F. Thoma Beauxamis (Thomas Beauxamis).(5) leaves, starting with title-page; 428pp.; (1) leaf; (1) blank binder\'s leaf. In Aedibus Viduæ & Hæredum Ioan. Stelsij, Lugduni, 1573. Good. 1573. Bound in full contemporary vellum. Ink-title to spine a bit faded, though still lends itself to the overall aesthetic of the volume. Remnants of institutional sticker to top of spine. Bands (intentionally) showing over spine; lacks original ties; some chipping to lower edge of back cover; general light wear and some darkening and light soiling to covers, as well as several tiny worn through spots to same, though exterior still remains attractive. Light wear to edges of pages, and an \"E\" stamped to top-edges of pages. Front and back inside covers quite worn. Short contemporary ink-inscription to lower part of title-page and unobtrusive ink marks and a note to only 3 pages. Many pages were printed in a slightly crooked manner or trimmed tightly, though only one page number and two page headings are partially effected. No loss to body of text. Interior also admits to a few minor chips and tears to extremities, to a very small number of pages. Beginning on about page 358 and following, pages admit to old stains, most of which are fairly faint and none of which effect the reading of the text, though in many cases, one half of each page is effected. A little spacing near hinges, though the binding remains firm. A few minor smudge marks and tiny spots to a small number of pages. Lovely printer\'s device to title-page and a few other illustrations, as well as numerous tables. Printed notes in margins throughout. Bottom 1/4 of last printed leaf is trimmed off, though all text appears to be present. Overall, remains a lovely, well preserved copy of a very scarce title.
