This sale is forTHREE Civil War era daguerreotype two men and one womanin a single frame with an ornate embossed leather frame on the back. The portrait of the sitting lady shows off a slight tint of her pink cheeks. One of the two men ones is also tinted. They measure 2 1/2\" x 3\" and each are a single frame. As you can see, the leather backs do show wear. I think all 3 were originally in a closed frame.
