Here are three Vintage Christmas Angels made by Holt Howard in Japan in 1958. Their purpose is to hug candles as decorative accents in displays or tablescapes. They are all identical and stand approx. 2 3/4\" tall x 2\" wide and will hug best a taper candle. They are ingreat condition considering their age except one angel has had her wing reattached and one her left arm both of which were done very well. It was hard for me to find these at first. The last photo is of a page of the book \"Price Guide to Holt-Howard Collectibles\" by Walter Dworkin where the angels are valued at $38.00 to $48.00 as of 2007. Whether you are a serious collector or not, these angel huggers will make an ordinary candle look absolutely awesome!!!
