A large round tray with a laurel boarder and sunflower center medallion, this tray monogrammed with CEK was a wedding present to my Grandmother circa 1928.
Tiffany & Co makers 20221a 475, 925 ( sterling)which is the date mark from 1907 to 1938.
The other marks at the bottom are I5 IN.
This sterling tray measures 15 inches in diameter and weighs 2 pounds, 6.8 ounces:the kilogram weight shows 1120.
Sitting in a sideboard for over 40 years now, it is time to send this lovely tray back out into the world for someone else to enjoy.
Sadly, I no longer have the tarnish resistant zipper felt bag, but I will include the ginormus hefty ziplock plastic bag my Mother used to keep this tray tarnish free (can be seen in a photo or two).
Estate appraised at $1500 in 2007, I am offering this at $2200 or best offer 10 years after the appraisal in 2017.
