All sell !ITEM: A fine C. 1915- 1925 antique cast bronze, original Zodiac Pattern 5 piece desk set, this contain two large side end plates for the writing surface mat, an ink blotter, a pen tray, a desk calendar display, and a hinged large document clip.The bottom writing surface measures 21 1/4\" by 12 1/4, the pen tray measures 3 1/8\" By 10\", the blotter measures 3\" by 5 1/2\" while the clip measures 2 1/2\" by 4\"
This is very well articulated as one would certainly expect from Tiffany Studios with original surfaces and patina and was conceived in the American Arts & Crafts design aesthetic that was popular during the first part of the turn of the last century. Pieces are clearly and neatly marked on bases as seen, the popular zodiac line features rustic low relief medallions with ancient zodiac symbols and borders of intertwined bands and the quality is fabulous.
