This is an 8 1/4\" high desk clock made of metal/chrome with a solid steel spring connecting the clock part to the base.
The clock face is plastic, as is the clock back. Controls are for on/off, hour dial and alarm dial.
The alarm dial knob is missing (if there ever was one) but the hour dial handle comes off and can be used to easily turn the dial.
Takes one AA battery (not included).
