This sale is for a wonderfulcased 1/6 Plate hand colored Tintype of a CIVIL WAR Soldier holding his Revolver with his rifle leaning against him. His greatcoat can be seen next to him and also his sword is on.
This is a very nice image from the Civil War
According to a hand written note inside the case, this image was taken at Martinsburg VA in March of 1863.
