Rare variant with 3 blade outboard propellers!! The Titanic in fact had 3 blade outboard propellers and a central 4 blade propeller but most submersible models of this type were manufactured and delivered with three 4 blade propellers.

Open box in excellent condition containing ship model and book. No readily discernable defects to any parts.

This precision-crafted, historically accurate, assembled, floatable plastic model can [with the flip of a switch] fill with water, break in two, and sink--just like the real thing! Youtube videos demonstrate the action. The model easily reassembles after sinking so the drama may be enjoyed over and over! Detailed pre-colored assembled hard plastic scale model – 16” (40 cm) long – with 15 main pieces [including a display stand] and 19 accessories. Both masts will be removed for shipping -- successful buyer should snap them back in place if so desired. Apparently, some of the earlier versions [so-called ‘Scholastic brown box’ type] of this model contained the three blade outboard propellers.
