This title page from a BibliaGraeca, Old Testament (Septuagint), and was printed by W. Kopfelin Strasbourg in the year 1526. Originally from volume 2 of a4 volume set the leaf is from the third edition of the completeGreek Bible edited by Johannes Lonicerus (Lonitzer). The octavopaper leaf measures 162 x 99 mm. in totality and contains 125x 80 mm historiated border surrounding 6-lines of Greek text.The Verso contains 15-lines of the same type. (Darlow & Moule4602) The leaf contains minor staining along the edges not affectingthe text, a library stamp and marginalia in an old hand.
