We are pleased to offer this Tobacco amber snuff bottle with a large debossed \"W\" on the base. It has a sheared and fire polished mouth, and was likely blown at Stoddard Glassworks, Stoddard, NH. It has an early smooth base and measures 4 1/4\" in height.
We have owned this for several years and thought it was perfect. However, we recently spotted a bruised area while photographing the bottle for a Facebook friend. The bruised is located just below the \"W\" and runs to the base edge. Obviously it is very hard to see unless you hold it in the right lighting. (See the last photo for this damage.) Otherwise, the bottle is in great shape and has some nice whittle and tiny seed bubbles.
