This is a very nice and original Tombak from Indonesia. A Tombak is a Spear forged by an Empu like a Keris.This beautiful Tombak has the dapur (shape) SEMAR (Tammens DE KRIS vol1). Semar is one of the important members of the Wayang family and highly respected in Indonesia.

A Tombak Semar is very hard to find and were used by magic man (like Dukun or Shaman) for (spiritual) protection.Because of the relative small size of this Tombak Semar, it is also be used as Jimat (Amulet), that was worn in the owners cloth when going outside of his house (for spiriutal protection)The Tombak has still a pamor with a Batu Lapak on the Blade (see detailed pictures). This pamor is considered to be very strong and powerfull and gives \"protection\" to the owner. (Tammens DE KRIS vol2).

The pamor is hard to get on a picture. Off course in real vision the pamor is more nice. I\'m not a pamor expert so please check this yourself (see the pictures). This Tombak is probably made 18th century.

The blade of this Tombak Semar is +/- 12,5 cm and the total length of this jimat is 24 cm.Off course the low starting offer is less then the actual value and only to encourage you to give a good offer on this nice Tombak.
