These folk art straw items from the Kingdom of Tonga were purchased at the International Folk Art Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2014. The Tongans brought only their best work to the Market. The grouping would make a nice wall or table display.The fan is about 14 inches in diameter. The mats are tapa bark painting on one side and pandamus straw weaving on the other. They measure 6 inches across. The little purse is also about 6-x 6. The tapa painting on the purse is quite exceptional.
