Up for sale is a sterling silver souvenir spoon from Tonopah, Nevada, formerly the property of Josephine Cameron of Ely, Nevada. Engraved in the bowl in flamboyant script is \"Tonopah Nev Josephine Cameron \'07.\" Josephine Cameron was head nurse at the Steptoe Hospital in East Ely, Nevada and the spoon is probably a memento of a trip she made to Tonopah in 1906. See 1910 census. About 5 3/8 inches long, 0.7 ounces, 21 grams. The spoon is stamped \"Sterling\" on its back, bears the H in a pennant hallmark the Mechanics Sterling Co., a subsidiary of the Watson Co. The spoon is in excellent vintage condition, noparticular defects to note.
