This is Sefaradi antique Torah scroll written on soft brown leather- parchment called Gevill.
the sefer is original from Turkey, at least 250-300 years old. The case is also from Turkey, dedicated in the city of IZMIR, younger then the scroll, about 150 years old.
The Sefer Torah can be displayed and kept in your home or office, or used to teach children and adults to read in the Torah. This is a very beautiful vintage peice of Judaica, as seen in famous mesuems displays around the world.
The scroll is made of soft leather called Gevill witch is the type of parchment used in those years. Written letter by letter in Kosher ink according to the Halachah by a Sofer Sta\"m- Scribe.
The case is a very rare kind. Its original Turkish hand made embroidery with gold thread VERY BEAUTIFUL!
